What matters most?

Minecraft’s busiest work often happens on one main thread. More CPU cores do not automatically mean a faster server.

World saves and new chunks feel much smoother on an SSD. An HDD can work, but storage pauses are easier to notice.

Never allocate every gigabyte to Minecraft. ZimaOS, Crafty and the file cache need room too.
